Because joking =/= condoning.

Joking = directly contributing to rape culture

All rapists think everyone else rapes and joking about the subject normalizes it in their minds. 

Stop it. 

Not only this, but what’s funny about such a joke? Seriously, what? Most jokes you can point out what makes it funny (it may ‘ruin’ the joke or whatever, but you can still do it). If you try and look at a rape joke and try to figure out what makes it funny, it’s not some sort of ‘shock value’ (that doesn’t make something humorous, god damnit), it’s not that they’re clever (that would imply originality, not harping on the same theme over and over) - the only thing that could reasonably be pointed to is a theme of ‘lulz, women suck, fuck them’. That’s the only thing that could possibly make such a joke funny, because it’s the only substance of the joke - and what’s funny about that?

The same goes for all the other, tired women jokes (about sandwiches, and ‘your place in the kitchen’, etc.). They just continually harp on that one, overused, pathetic, and harmful theme.

If you seriously want to say that there’s no connection between a society that condones a whole culture of jokes where the punchline is simply ‘fuck women’, and a culture that continually says ‘fuck women’ through its laws, its practices, its media, etc., then, well, fuck you. Seriously, if you can make that claim with a straight face, gain some damn cultural awareness. Because this is just annoying at this point.
